ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic practice emerges from an impulse to observe what transforms, what resists, and what remains hidden beneath the surface. Working across photography, video, and installation, I explore the relationship between human beings and their environment—between memory and matter, the organic and the artificial.
I collect fragments, objects, and traces found in the territory —remnants of what has been used, forgotten, or abandoned— to construct new visual narratives. In these materials I discover the possibility of re-signifying the everyday and revealing the marks of a history that continues to breathe through matter.
I am drawn to natural and urban elements, to residues and bodies altered by time, which become symbols of our relationship with the planet and with ourselves.
My work is a process of observation and listening. I explore the thresholds between the visible and the invisible, between human fragility and nature’s regenerative force. I conceive art as a space of repair, where the image can act as a form of reconciliation between what we destroy and what may still be able to return.
From a poetic yet critical perspective, I question the structures that sustain consumption, memory, and identity. My work seeks to awaken a sensory awareness: inviting the viewer to contemplate the beauty that inhabits ruin, the vitality that emerges from waste, and the possibility of re-encounter between the self and the surrounding world.

Un proceso de observación y escucha
Mi práctica artística nace del impulso de observar lo que se transforma, lo que resiste y lo que permanece oculto bajo la superficie. Trabajo entre la fotografía, el video y la instalación como medios para explorar la relación entre el ser humano y su entorno, entre la memoria y la materia, entre lo orgánico y lo artificial.
Recojo fragmentos, objetos y rastros que encuentro en el territorio —vestigios de lo que fue usado, olvidado o abandonado— para construir nuevas narrativas visuales. En ellos descubro la posibilidad de resignificar lo cotidiano y revelar las huellas de una historia que sigue respirando a través de la materia.
Me interesan los elementos naturales y urbanos, los residuos o los cuerpos alterados por el tiempo, que se convierten en símbolos de nuestra relación con el planeta y con nosotros mismos.
Mi obra es un proceso de observación y escucha. Exploro los límites entre lo visible y lo invisible, entre la fragilidad de lo humano y la fuerza regeneradora de la naturaleza. Concibo el arte como un espacio de reparación, donde la imagen puede actuar como una forma de reconciliación entre lo que destruimos y lo que aún puede renacer.
Desde una mirada poética y crítica, cuestiono las estructuras que sostienen el consumo, la memoria y la identidad. Mi trabajo busca despertar una conciencia sensorial: invitar al espectador a contemplar la belleza que habita en la ruina, la vitalidad que emerge del desecho, la posibilidad de reencuentro entre el ser y el entorno.
